Darksiders 90 Minute Demo Announced

THQ have announced a 90 minutes demo of Darksiders will be avaliable for Xbox 360 and PlayStation3 via Live and PSN, respectively.

The demo will contain the entire first dungeon, Twilight Cathedral, where you can face the demon Jailer and the epic Tiamat. As well as these two larger than life boss battles, the level contains dozens of puzzles to solve, new pieces of equipment to discover providing a good cross section of Darksiders’ key features.

It should take you about 90 minutes to complete the demo, if not providing a good time-trail run!

We really wanted to give gamers a true idea of the variety of gameplay that the game offers and so rather than just making a standard 20-minute demo version of the first few levels, we decided to give away this massive level and reveal the true essence of the game.” ~ David Adams (General Manager, Vigil Games)

This all reminds me of the days of Shareware demos where you get a whole episode of a game for free then had to pay for the rest. With the prices Darksiders is going for, if you enjoy this demo then I recommend getting a copy of Darksiders from GAME (£24.99 at time of publish).
