Stoked to be Released in Europe
The guys from ZUSHI have finally got the deal to release Destineer’s Stoked in Europe through Destineer on the Xbox 360.
Stoked is a snowboarding game with an open-world back country. It’s been out state-side since February, but Europe hasn’t heard a word about this game till now.
They’ve gone for a completely free snowboarding game with the tag that “if you can see it, you can trick off it”. You can take control of a helicopter and fly it to any point on one of the 5 mountains in the game then jump out and start riding the powder. Each mountain is based on a real one with about 45 square-miles on each peak
There have been a few snowboarding games in the past that I’ve enjoyed, such as the SSX games (PlayStation 2 and PSP) and also Amped on the Xbox 360, even Shaun White on the Wii was good (the PS3 version didn’t really do it for me), but good ones are so far and few between that, being a snowboarder, I’m always excited to see a new one come.
Expect the release in September this year. In the mean time, check out the screen shots and video.
